Renee Reasons
Renee was a competitive swimmer from age 5 to age 20. During those years, she placed in Districts and Zones. Additionally, in High School, she was named 'All-American' and 'All-State'. During her collage years, she began coaching various swim clubs, such as Concord Country Club and Arden Swim Club. During those years, she successfully led the swimmers of these teams to over 6 championship seasons.
In addition, Renee began a swim clinic entitled 'Kick and Sprint'. The clinic focuses on mechanics, proper form, and a love for swimming. With this company, she obtained a level 2 ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association) coaching certificate. The swimmers from these programs benefited from her strong emphasis on proper stroke technique.
Renee's educational degrees are in E-Learning Instructional Design, Elementary Education, Reading, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Supervisor. Her doctoral degree is in Educational Leadership. She uses her degrees and educational background to help provide instruction and develop lessons to enhance the strokes of each individual swimmer.
More recently, Renee began head coaching, once again, at the Concord Country Club.. The focus of the team was on mechanics, a love of swimming, and a heightened self esteem.
In helping these swimmers, Renee was motivated to provide more children with the opportunity to become stronger in the water. This is the focus of the Cyclones Swim Team.
Each of the coaches are 'hand picked' and hold the same passion for your swimmer(s).
